Junior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Operate and assist in the development of data pipelines utilizing the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem.

• Monitor and maintain the stability of data flows managed within Cloud Composer (Airflow).

• Engage in incident resolution and handle operational tickets by investigating and addressing root causes to ensure data integrity.

• Offer support and create solutions for Analytics, Data Science, and Software Engineering teams within the platform context.

• Document operational procedures and troubleshooting guidelines relevant to the platform.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of best practices, coding standards, and data platform infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of Python, Spark, and SQL for data manipulation and scripting tasks.

• Familiarity with fundamental data engineering principles and cloud architectural frameworks.

• Strong analytical abilities and logical reasoning skills for structured problem investigation and resolution.

• Effective, proactive, and assertive communication skills to collaborate with the team and fulfill stakeholder requests.

• Organized and accountable regarding deadlines, with the ability to adhere to technical routines in production settings.

• A mindset geared towards continuous learning, technical curiosity, and process enhancement.

• Preferred: previous experience or hands-on involvement with GCP services for Data Analytics (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer/Airflow, Agent Platform).
