Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Create a Feature Store along with additional future data services.

• Build EL / ELT / ETL pipelines.

• Incorporate new tools for data processing and storage solutions.

• Execute operational tasks related to internal data solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ML Engineer, or Backend Engineer.

• Proven experience in developing high-load and scalable data processing and storage systems.

• Strong knowledge and experience with event-driven systems and streaming pipelines.

• Proficiency in Python and adherence to best practices for Python development.

• Proficiency in SQL and adherence to best practices for SQL development.

• Familiarity with system design best practices.

• Knowledge of technologies such as Airflow, Debezium, BigQuery / Clickhouse, PostgreSQL / CockroachDB, Docker, GitLab (CI/CD), and GCP.

• Experience with REST API, GRPC API, message brokers, and queues.

• Bonus: Experience in GO development.

• Bonus: Familiarity with modern data storage systems, including Relational, MPP, and NoSQL databases.

• Bonus: Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
