This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Provide assistance with the configuration, deployment, and management of EDR solutions such as CrowdStrike or SentinelOne.
• Work in collaboration with senior engineers to support SIEM and NDR systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve security incidents as part of a dedicated cybersecurity team.
• Conduct health checks, reporting, and troubleshooting for EDR, SIEM, NDR, firewalls, and other service delivery systems.
• Acquire practical experience with AWS or Azure while aiding in cloud architecture design and security practices.
• Contribute to the documentation of security architecture, including policies, standards, and system design artifacts.
• Assist with compliance efforts related to FEDRAMP, NIST 800-53 controls, System Security Plans, and CIS hardening baselines.
• Report directly to the Technical Director and support the implementation, operation, and maintenance of cybersecurity systems.
• Recent graduation with a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Up to 2 years of applicable hands-on experience, which may include internships, coursework, or entry-level roles in cybersecurity, information technology, or network security.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Capable of passing a CJIS background check.
• Basic knowledge of EDR solutions like CrowdStrike or SentinelOne, and/or SIEM tools such as Microsoft Sentinel or Splunk.
• General familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and practices through academic projects, certifications, or internships.
• Eagerness to learn and enhance technical skills in security operations, architecture, incident response, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong communication abilities and capacity to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Practical experience in a sizable, complex IT environment is an asset.
• Familiarity or exposure to ManageEngine, ServiceNow, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Vectra AI is advantageous.
• Knowledge of AWS and Microsoft Azure is preferred.
• Understanding of ITIL v4, TOGAF, or similar methodologies is also preferred.
• Cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CYSA+, CCFA, CISSP, or CEH are highly desired.
