Junior Curator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create galleries and collections based on client briefs, sales requests, and marketing initiatives, adhering to specified requirements and timelines.

• Acquire a thorough understanding of the Stocksy collection to effectively match briefs on the first attempt.

• Oversee the team queue, prioritizing current and forthcoming tasks.

• Collaborate with the Curation Services team to ensure clients always have support available.

• Adhere to the processes for intake, review, and delivery.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and highlight any bottlenecks.

• Recognize trends in requests, recurring client demands, and gaps in the collection, and communicate insights to the team.

• Transition from shadowing current galleries to independently managing a queue of gallery creations and client requests.

• Engage in the team's coverage rotation and provide insights regarding upcoming collection requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Some experience in photo editing, curation, gallery or collection development, or a comparable visual content position.

• A portfolio, a collection you have developed, or another example of your judgment that we can review.

• Ability to manage a queue of requests with varying deadlines and specifications while maintaining high quality.

• A true and passionate interest in visual content, supported by tangible evidence such as a personal project, an online following, or a body of work.

• Familiarity with CRM or project management tools, or a strong willingness to quickly learn these tools.

• Dependable and transparent - you commit to your tasks and follow through.

• Preference given to candidates residing in the Pacific time zone.
