This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You monitor the financial health of the company: You are accountable for our monthly closing process and ensure that financial reporting is accurate, timely, and well-structured throughout the organization.
• Transform data into insights: You generate and maintain financial reports that provide our leadership with a clear understanding of costs, revenues, and overall company performance, and you are proactive in highlighting what the figures reveal.
• Evolve into a strategic finance collaborator: In addition to reporting, you will progressively engage in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, collaborating closely with the CFO to enhance our financial framework as the company grows.
• Master Excel as your tool: You will utilize well-structured, meticulously designed spreadsheet models on a daily basis, focusing on building, enhancing, and sustaining them at a high standard.
• Leverage AI to simplify your tasks: You are eager to learn in an AI-driven technological landscape and are ready to explore various AI tools (e.g., Claude) to boost your and your team's efficiency in reporting and forecasting.
• You possess hands-on experience in controlling, whether it be cost, revenue, or sales controlling — what matters is your ability to work with financial data and produce structured, dependable reports.
• You hold a degree in business administration, finance, or a related discipline — a master's degree is not necessary.
• You demonstrate high proficiency in Excel and take pleasure in using it daily. Clean model structures, well-organized sheets, and robust formula applications come naturally to you.
• You have outstanding German and English language skills (C1/C2).
• You are detail-oriented and organized, with a strong sense of ownership over the financial information you manage.
