This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Extract and reconcile transactional booking data from HubSpot.
• Verify booking records against source data to ensure precision.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies before they impact payouts.
• Generate accurate and timely commission statements for the sales team.
• Review commission calculations against plan rules prior to payout.
• Detect and rectify errors or edge cases before finalizing statements.
• Address commission inquiries and disputes raised by sales representatives.
• Offer clear, well-documented justifications for how figures were derived.
• Serve as a reliable point of contact for commission-related inquiries.
• Document commission edge cases and keep standard operating procedures up to date.
• Create and maintain reconciliation trackers using Google Sheets.
• Suggest and assist in implementing process enhancements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Finance, RevOps, and Sales to align on commission logic and timing.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency and validate work.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis requests as necessary.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, revenue operations, commission statements, or a related analytical role.
• Strong expertise in Google Sheets and Excel (formulas, pivot tables, reconciliation workflows).
• Practical experience with HubSpot or similar CRM reporting tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven attention to detail with an auditing mindset.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, data validation).
• Experience in CRM data reporting and reconciliation (HubSpot).
• Understanding of sales commission calculation logic.
• Comfort with using AI tools to enhance efficiency and validate work.
• Bonus: experience with Coefficient, QuickBooks, or similar reporting/accounting tools.
• An "auditing mindset," allowing for instinctive double-checking of numbers and identification of discrepancies.
• Clear and patient communicator capable of explaining calculations to non-financial stakeholders.
• Highly organized, with exemplary documentation practices.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong alignment with multiple teams.
• Inquisitive and eager to learn, especially regarding evolving commission structures and tools.
