This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and provide support for scalable cloud-based integration solutions utilizing Kubernetes and AWS integration services.
• Create and sustain healthcare interoperability solutions adhering to X12, HL7, and FHIR standards.
• Execute continuous delivery and GitOps deployment workflows using Argo CD and associated cloud-native technologies.
• Set up and maintain observability, telemetry, logging, tracing, monitoring, and alerting functionalities using Datadog or similar platforms.
• Deploy Istio or comparable service mesh technologies for effective traffic management, security, reliability, and resilience.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to define reusable integration patterns.
• Diagnose production issues and conduct root-cause analyses.
• Maintain technical and operational documentation.
• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as necessary to achieve team objectives and project success.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in developing cloud-based integrations using Kubernetes.
• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience with AWS integration services and cloud-native integration capabilities.
• At least 2 years of experience in implementing healthcare interoperability solutions based on X12, HL7, and FHIR standards.
• Familiarity with Argo CD or similar continuous delivery technologies.
• Experience with Datadog or equivalent observability platforms.
• Proficiency in Istio or similar service mesh technologies.
• Solid understanding of cloud integration patterns, APIs, microservices, distributed systems, telemetry, logging, tracing, alerting, container orchestration, and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience in the healthcare sector or another regulated environment.
• Background in supporting large-scale healthcare integration platforms and mission-critical production environments.
• Previous experience assisting the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal healthcare modernization initiatives is preferred.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, GitOps, cloud security, automated deployment, and production reliability practices is preferred.
• Must reside within the continental United States.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance, including necessary fingerprinting, when required.
