This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions based in the cloud utilizing Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
• Create and support healthcare interoperability solutions that adhere to X12, HL7, and FHIR standards.
• Construct and oversee AWS-based integration services alongside cloud-native application functionalities.
• Execute continuous delivery workflows employing Argo CD or comparable deployment automation tools.
• Facilitate observability through Datadog or similar platforms.
• Diagnose production integration issues and conduct root cause analysis.
• Keep technical documentation, deployment standards, and operational procedures updated.
• Collaborate with teams in engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations to create reusable integration patterns.
• Enhance service reliability and implement telemetry, logging, tracing, and service mesh technologies such as Istio.
• Assume additional tasks and responsibilities as necessary to support team goals and project success.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience in developing cloud-based integration solutions.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with Kubernetes and AWS integration services in cloud settings.
• At least 2 years of experience applying healthcare interoperability standards, including X12, HL7, and FHIR.
• Familiarity with continuous delivery processes using Argo CD or similar CI/CD tools.
• Experience with observability platforms, such as Datadog, and distributed telemetry solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in Agile teams within enterprise healthcare environments.
• Knowledge of Istio or other service mesh technologies, container orchestration, microservices, hybrid cloud architectures, and enterprise integration platforms.
• Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other federal healthcare environments is preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Government clearance.
• Must reside within the continental United States.
• Selected candidates will need to complete fingerprinting at a government facility and undergo a background check.
