Junior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist in sizing, designing, and provisioning cloud infrastructure on AWS according to project requirements.

• Configure, manage, and maintain servers operating on Linux/Unix systems.

• Set up and manage container orchestration environments using Kubernetes.

• Support the installation, deployment, and configuration of enterprise solutions, particularly document management platforms like Hyland ECM.

• Create and update technical documentation for infrastructure, architectures, and operational processes.

• Address and resolve infrastructure cases and incidents reported by clients.

• Maintain constant communication with clients until incidents are resolved.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or engineering in Computer Systems, Telematics, Computer Science, or related fields.

• 0 to 2 years of professional experience in infrastructure roles, server support, or as a Junior DevOps.

• Practical knowledge in sizing and configuring AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM.

• Basic experience or solid knowledge in configuring and deploying Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in managing and configuring Linux/Unix operating systems via command line.

• Understanding of networking concepts, Docker containers, and application deployment.

• Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery to ensure high system availability.

• Understanding the difference between programming and infrastructure engineering, with a mindset oriented towards automation.

• Previous experience installing ECM platforms, ideally Hyland, Alfresco, or Ephesoft (preferred).

• Basic scripting knowledge in Bash or Python, or Infrastructure as Code with Terraform (preferred).

• Technical English for reading and understanding technical documentation and specifications.

• Advanced Spanish.
