SAP Infrastructure Engineer – Project Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Deploy and set up infrastructure environments for SAP Business One (HANA and SQL).

• Install and configure SUSE Linux along with HANA databases following SAP best practices.

• Implement configurations for networking, security, and monitoring in Azure, AWS, Huawei Cloud, and private cloud settings.

• Configure and validate SAP components, including SLD, HANA Studio, Service Layer, and integration frameworks.

• Collaborate closely with SAP consultants during project transitions to ensure preparedness and alignment.

• Document and standardize deployment processes and handover documentation.

• Troubleshoot deployment challenges across both the infrastructure and SAP application layers.

• Assist in automation efforts to enhance the provisioning of SAP environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in cloud or infrastructure engineering (Azure, AWS, Huawei, VMware).

• Practical experience with SAP B1 environments (HANA and SQL).

• Strong administration skills in Linux (SUSE).

• Knowledge of SAP architecture and its components (SLD, DI API, Integration Framework).

• Familiarity with networking, firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring tools.

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

• Certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02), or Huawei Certified ICT Associate (HCA-Cloud Service) are beneficial.

• Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Bicep is advantageous.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
