This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Manage the complete patching lifecycle across RMM/MDM (Addigy/JAMF/Intune) environments for Windows Servers, Windows Workstations, and macOS endpoints.
• Ensure adherence to patch compliance SLAs by performing monthly remediation of security and critical updates.
• Execute major OS upgrades on a quarterly basis.
• Develop and implement patch schedules in line with Risk severity (CVSS prioritization) and Business impact windows.
• Regularly monitor, report, and enhance compliance status across all managed environments.
• Detect and address patch failures, drift, and systemic compliance issues promptly.
• Plan and execute OS upgrades (Windows & macOS) while minimizing disruptions through controlled rollout strategies (rings, phased deployment) and ensuring that rollback strategies are established and validated.
• Acquire knowledge and provide support for related service areas, including but not limited to: Microsoft 365 administration (basic support for Exchange, Sharepoint, One-Drive, Teams workloads, identity, device posture).
• Manage Azure platform operations (VM Administration, Configuration and patching, and other baseline services).
• Resolve end-user issues through experience-focused troubleshooting.
• Monitor backups and address remediation (job failures, restore validation).
• Conduct other routine monthly and quarterly system and service health checks (including but not limited to AD/DNS, M365, Backups (SaaS & BaaS), Physical Servers, and related workloads).
• Utilize patching and endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, N-able / RMM tools, SCCM / Endpoint Manager.
• Promote the automation of patch deployment, compliance reporting, and failure remediation workflows.
• Serve as a proactive liaison between engineering and customer stakeholders by collaborating with TAM/CSM to ensure remediation accountability within the customer organization and compile updates and reports from various proactive system and service health checks.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of practical experience in IT infrastructure support and management of core technology stacks for Servers and Workstations.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in supporting Windows Server and Windows Workstation environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and version upgrades.
• Familiarity with patch deployment, compliance monitoring, and vulnerability remediation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure services and cloud concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
• Basic comprehension of virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware.
• Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
