Cloud Engineer – Mid Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Develop and establish the core DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline framework utilizing GitHub Actions for automating tenant onboarding.

• Streamline tenant workspace provisioning and IaC-driven onboarding processes using Terraform and Databricks Asset Bundles.

• Ensure code quality and implement dependency scanning along with policy-as-code, incorporating approval gates and comprehensive audit trails.

• Facilitate secure environment transitions through development, testing, and production stages for client deliverables.

• Provide continuous 24x7 monitoring of the CI/CD pipeline and address any failures that occur.

• Update and maintain the Platform Operations Runbook and deliverables related to IaC Baselines.

• Enhance tenant satisfaction by guaranteeing that provisioning pipelines adhere to deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Work Authorization: Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

• Must possess an active Public Trust level clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.

• Over 7 years of practical experience in AWS cloud engineering.

• Advanced proficiency in Terraform for automated Infrastructure as Code (IaC) provisioning and management.

• Experience in designing DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions with SAST, DAST, and secrets scanning.

• Familiarity with Databricks Asset Bundles for automating workspace deployment.

• Strong expertise in EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, and VPC networking.

• Knowledge of blue/green and canary deployment methodologies.

• AWS DevOps Engineer Professional or AWS Certified Developer certification is preferred.

• Prepared to provide 24x7 on-call support, including during off-hours deployment schedules.
