Junior BPM Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Utilize technical expertise to address intricate business and system challenges for automation solutions.

• Create enterprise software as a member of BP3's Process Automation team.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver final outputs.

• Partner with Project Managers or Agile/SCRUM teams to assess workload and assist in project planning.

• Integrate software with RESTful services and manage JSON payloads.

• Advance toward Camunda Developer and future architectural positions through training provided by the company.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in enterprise software development or 2 years working within a development team.

• Comprehensive understanding of source control principles; experience with Git is preferred, though Perforce/SVN is also acceptable.

• Knowledge of software development methodologies including analysis, requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, acceptance, and maintenance.

• Ability to write professional, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code.

• Experience in providing estimates and contributing to project plans alongside a Project Manager, or within an Agile/SCRUM environment.

• Proven experience integrating RESTful services and managing JSON payloads.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with both internal and external project stakeholders.

• Experience with BPM/workflow and BPMN is preferred.

• Familiarity with low-code application development, iPaaS, and/or RPA/IA is preferred.

• Understanding of software and architectural patterns is considered a plus.

• Working knowledge of databases and SQL is desirable.

• Knowledge of Docker is preferred.

• Exposure to DevOps, particularly in building pipelines, is preferred.

• Experience with DMN, CI/CD, containers, agile methodologies, cloud computing infrastructure, or Kubernetes is optional.

• A Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Computer Science is required.
