Junior Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage CRM entries and client accounts within NetSuite, ensuring the precise entry of client information.

• Examine CRM entries made by other team members to verify data accuracy and facilitate timely billing processes.

• Execute changes related to client billing, including upgrades, downgrades, add-ons, prorations, promotional discounts, and credits, under the supervision of senior team members.

• Refer complex issues to senior team members when necessary.

• Assist the larger billing team with administrative and data-entry tasks as required.

• Perform additional tasks as needed to support the team in achieving its objectives and meeting requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in billing, accounting, or finance; familiarity with NetSuite or another ERP/billing system is advantageous.

• A desire to work in a fast-paced billing environment, possessing strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• High level of accuracy – takes pride in spotting and rectifying errors.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused and solution-oriented approach.

• Confident, friendly, and inquisitive; willing to ask questions to enhance understanding and promote continuous learning.

• Self-driven with the capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while seeking assistance when necessary.

• Team-oriented with a proactive, energetic attitude.

• Basic knowledge of SaaS contract terminology and subscription-based billing concepts (or a willingness to learn).

• Familiarity with CRM tools is beneficial but not essential.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
