Junior Billing Compliance Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop tools for data collection, Excel models, and Power BI dashboards to monitor billing audit findings, error rates, and recurring issues.

• Transform narrative audit findings into organized, dependable datasets.

• Utilize statistical sampling and conduct data quality checks during audits.

• Deliver clear reports and insights to leadership and compliance committees.

• Collaborate with Finance and Data Analytics teams to integrate their data with compliance requirements.

• Investigate healthcare regulations.

• Occasionally assist with audits and investigations.

• Create compliance reporting tools, dashboards, and reports from scratch.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 6+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting, including the development of tools and processes from the ground up.

• Proficient in advanced Excel functions.

• Practical experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.

• Fluent in English.

• Capability to convey data clearly to non-technical audiences.

• Ability to work independently without close supervision.

• Experience in healthcare, particularly in billing, claims, revenue cycle, or compliance audits (preferred).

• Understanding of U.S. healthcare regulations such as Medicaid, CMS, and HIPAA (preferred).

• Experience utilizing AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot in analytical tasks (preferred).
