This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Conduct research on specialist industries and engage with senior professionals regarding market trends, developments, and innovations.
• Create and enhance award categories, judging criteria, and entry guidelines.
• Identify and recruit industry experts and senior executives to serve on judging panels.
• Cultivate relationships with judges and oversee the process from nominations to the selection of finalists and winners.
• Generate high-quality nominations through research, direct outreach, and engagement.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Editorial teams to promote the awards and elevate industry profile.
• Oversee multiple awards projects, managing deadlines, milestones, and stakeholders effectively.
• Partner with the Events team on ceremony content, including scripts, presentations, winner information, and running orders.
• Attend and provide support at awards ceremonies in the UK and internationally.
• Produce awards programmes from initial research and development through nominations, judging, and the final ceremony.
• A graduate degree is required.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• A curious mindset and eagerness to learn about unfamiliar subjects and industries.
• Proficient in researching, inquiring, and comprehending complex topics.
• Confidence in communicating over the phone with new contacts.
• Professional communication skills to build relationships with senior individuals.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Keen attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to ownership and responsibility.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting while collaborating with colleagues.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Commercial awareness and interest in successful products or events.
• Ability to collaborate across various business areas.
• Legal eligibility to work in the UK.
• Experience or interest in B2B events, publishing, awards, conferences, or project management is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Experience interacting with senior professionals or clients is advantageous.
• Interest in sectors such as insurance, intellectual property, life sciences, legal, financial, or professional services is a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM, project management, or awards platforms like Evessio is advantageous.
• Strong copywriting skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly is a plus.
• Salary range of £30,000–£35,000
