Junior Aviation Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Evaluate aviation-related data to facilitate informed decisions regarding flight paths, expenditure practices, employee productivity, safety protocols, aviation laws, national security matters, and additional subjects.

• Utilize data analytics to forecast and estimate various aviation-related outcomes.

• Conduct operational assessments and formulate operational concepts.

• Examine architecture, comprehensive systems design, operational concepts, design frameworks, and implementation strategies.

• Execute data-driven evaluations, including alternative strategies when interdependent projects face delays.

• Discover opportunities for the integration of new technologies.

• Offer technical guidance in strategic planning, research and development, operations research, systems engineering, and the creation of briefings.

• Prepare and create documentation and presentations.

• Deliver hands-on support for Business Process Re-engineering, encompassing As-Is, To-Be, and Alternatives Analysis.

• Suggest enhancements to current processes and procedures for organizations affiliated with the BNATCS RSR Program.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree along with 2–5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with over 1 year of experience.

• Five years of pertinent experience may replace the requirement for a Bachelor's Degree.

• Comparable aviation data analyst experience in the U.S. Military or an international control environment is acceptable.

• Proficiency in aviation data analysis tools and software, such as Tableau, Excel, or equivalent platforms.

• A strong grasp of FAA regulations, national security protocols, and industry best practices is highly preferred.

• Experience in developing and delivering technical briefings to stakeholders across various organizational tiers.

• Capability to perform Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and spearhead process improvement initiatives.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including the preparation of technical documents and reports.

• Familiarity with systems engineering and operations research methodologies is advantageous.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Capability to obtain and sustain FAA public trust and FAA resume approval.
