This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
β’ Provide second-level support for Markets & Wealth applications, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
β’ Continuously monitor applications using Splunk and AppDynamics to detect alerts, errors, and potential service impacts.
β’ Analyze logs, metrics, and application behavior to identify and resolve incidents.
β’ Investigate recurring incidents and determine the root cause of issues.
β’ Diagnose failures in applications and technological components in production environments.
β’ Coordinate incident resolution with Development, Infrastructure, Database, and other technical teams.
β’ Address critical incidents and participate in recovery and service restoration activities.
β’ Manage incidents, problems, and changes in accordance with ITIL practices.
β’ Evaluate changes and implementations to identify risks and minimize production impacts.
β’ Execute technical and functional validations post-changes to ensure the proper operation of services.
β’ Document incidents, operational procedures, root cause analyses, and lessons learned.
β’ Identify repetitive manual tasks and processes with potential for automation.
β’ Analyze alerts, incidents, and metrics to uncover improvement opportunities and reduce operational load.
β’ Document automation opportunities, considering benefits, impacts, and risk mitigation.
β’ Collaborate with the SRE team on automation, observability, self-remediation, and resilience initiatives.
β’ Identify trends and recurring problems to propose continuous improvement actions.
β’ Enhance the stability and availability of applications through optimization initiatives and incident prevention.
β’ Over 3 years of experience as Application Support L2, Production Support, or Application Operations.
β’ Experience in supporting applications in high-availability production environments.
β’ Knowledge and experience in Linux/Unix and Wintel.
β’ Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Splunk and AppDynamics.
β’ Log analysis, troubleshooting, and incident diagnosis skills.
β’ Knowledge of ITIL, particularly Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
β’ Familiarity with ticket management tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira, or equivalents.
β’ Root cause analysis (RCA), resolution of recurring problems, and incident resolution within SLA.
β’ Understanding of Markets & Wealth, including Fixed Income, Equities, Foreign Exchange (FX), derivatives, Trade Lifecycle (Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office), and investment funds.
β’ Knowledge of microservices in financial environments.
β’ Desirable: knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server, experience in Shell Scripting, familiarity with PowerShell, and experience in automating SRE operational tasks, observability, self-remediation, and resilience.
β’ Advanced English, Cambridge English B2 level or EF SET C1 (Advanced).
