📋 Description

• Manage the daily market rhythm from pre-market hours to market close, ensuring the desk's market view is always up-to-date and ready for decision-making.

• Create a clear and prioritized summary for the morning pre-market briefing.

• Monitor earnings and events, including reporting timings, positioning, and important factors to consider.

• Generate intraday checkpoint notes regarding market activity.

• Maintain watchlists, thematic baskets, stub positions, and alerts effectively.

• Develop same-day breakdowns and screens to address desk inquiries.

• Provide prompt and precise desk support through data retrieval, fact-checking, liquidity context, and sizing context.

• Leverage AI tools to enhance coverage, summarize information, and minimize irrelevant noise.

• Report to the senior analyst who oversees daily market coverage.

• Strong passion for and understanding of equity markets, encompassing tickers, earnings mechanics, analyst ratings, and news-driven price fluctuations.

• Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to deliver thorough, accurate, and timely recurring tasks.

• Proficiency in synthesizing complex information into concise, prioritized briefs under tight deadlines.

• Willingness to accept feedback, adapt quickly when facts change, and prioritize accuracy over personal credit.

• Ability to maintain composure under real-time market pressure.

• Consistent availability from pre-market through market close, aligning with the market’s schedule.

• Skill in filtering relevant signals from a high volume of news, data, and commentary.

• Comfort in building and managing lists, screens, and same-day breakdowns.

• Proficiency with modern AI tools for monitoring, summarizing, and triaging information.
