Junior Accountant – PH Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Accurately record daily financial transactions and maintain precise accounting records.

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.

• Prepare and process payroll, ensuring proper monitoring of timesheets and payroll-related documentation.

• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to verify balance accuracy.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.

• Manage tax compliance, statutory filings, and government remittances.

• Support audit requirements, including documentation requests and regulatory submissions.

• Collaborate with banks, suppliers, government agencies, and internal stakeholders.

• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of accounting outputs.

• Keep financial documentation and accounting records organized.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.

• Practical experience in payroll processing, taxation, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

• Knowledge of Philippine tax regulations and statutory compliance obligations.

• Experience in supporting daily accounting functions within a dynamic environment.

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy and accountability.

• Strong structured communication skills in English.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.

• Familiarity with bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting practices.

• Understanding of Philippine government remittances and compliance requirements.

• Experience with bank reconciliations and accounting documentation.

• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems is a plus.
