This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.
• Handle and document daily banking transactions, ensuring precise and prompt accounting for both Lithuanian and international entities.
• Conduct routine bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records.
• Oversee accounts payable: receive, validate, and process supplier invoices, ensuring appropriate approvals and timely payments.
• Manage accounts receivable: issue invoices to clients, track incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding amounts.
• Keep thorough and organized records of all invoices, payment documents, and necessary supporting materials.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of i.SAF reports and other tax-related paperwork as required.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities associated with bank accounts, payables, and receivables.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless invoice workflows and address payment-related inquiries.
• Aid senior team members with ad hoc accounting tasks, reporting, and audit preparations.
• Contribute to enhancing internal accounting processes, including the digitization and automation of invoice and payment workflows.
• A degree (or final-year student) in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
• One year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a comparable finance role (internship experience considered an asset).
• Basic understanding of Lithuanian accounting standards and tax regulations (including VAT, i.SAF).
• Experience in bank accounting operations and invoice processing.
• Familiarity with ERP or accounting software (e.g., Navision, SAP, or similar).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data filtering).
• Interest in utilizing AI tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing financial data.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Fluent in Lithuanian and possess a good command of English (both spoken and written).
