Junior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Execute bookkeeping tasks and manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

• Assist in the month-end closing process and ensure client books are maintained accurately.

• Generate schedules and provide support for financial statements and management reporting.

• Examine transactions to spot discrepancies or issues that require attention.

• Aid in year-end compilations, audits, reviews, and tax-related tasks.

• Keep client records organized and up-to-date.

• Collaborate with the team and eventually engage directly with clients on accounting inquiries.

• Enhance processes, systems, and workflows.

• Assist with various ad hoc accounting and finance projects.

• Manage a portfolio of international clients while working alongside experienced accountants.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or currently pursuing one.

• 2–3+ years of pertinent accounting experience.

• Familiarity with fundamental accounting principles.

• Proficient in working with numbers, spreadsheets, and accounting software.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a keen attention to detail.

• Comfortable communicating in English, both written and verbal.

• Eagerness to ask questions and explore unclear issues.

• Inquisitive and motivated to learn.

• Experience with QuickBooks Online or Xero is advantageous.

• Background in public accounting, audit, tax, SaaS, technology, fintech, or Web3 is a plus.
