JD Edwards Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assess clients' requirements and propose optimal practices and solutions within the JD Edwards Manufacturing framework.

• Develop and set up business workflows (sales, purchasing, inventory management, manufacturing, and production planning) in accordance with client expectations.

• Create functional analyses, confirm technical specifications, document processes, and design test scenarios.

• Assist with solution deployments: configuration, coordination with technical teams, acceptance testing, and support during go-live.

• Educate users and aid them in embracing new solutions.

• Offer continuous functional oversight and support after deployment.

• Collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of projects in an agile and cooperative environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in implementing, enhancing, and supporting manufacturing modules on the JD Edwards platform (EnterpriseOne or World).

• Background in the manufacturing or distribution industry is advantageous.

• Strong knowledge of JD Edwards manufacturing modules.

• Good understanding of ERP integration with other modules, configuration, queries, interfaces, and reporting.

• Proficient in spoken and written French, with functional English skills.

• Analytical thinker with a practical mindset and excellent interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to simplify complex concepts.

• Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team setting.
