BS/MD Admissions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist prospective BS/MD and direct medical program candidates throughout the admissions journey, encompassing school selection, application strategies, essays, resumes, recommendations, timelines, and interviews.

• Aid students in enhancing their academic and extracurricular profiles while crafting persuasive application materials.

• Help students conduct research and assess the most suitable BS/MD, pre-med, and undergraduate programs that align with their aspirations and interests.

• Offer advice and constructive feedback on personal statements, supplemental essays, and interview preparation, ensuring students maintain their authentic voices.

• Assist students with project planning, managing application timelines, and tracking progress through internal organizational tools.

• Remain informed about BS/MD, direct medical, pre-med, and undergraduate admissions trends to deliver timely and strategic advice.

⛳️ Requirements

• An MD or DO degree is required.

• Previous experience on an admissions committee at either the undergraduate or medical school level.

• Experience mentoring high school students, especially in academic advising or college application assistance.

• Knowledge of BS/MD, direct medical, and pre-med admissions processes, including school selection, application strategies, and interview preparation.

• Demonstrated success in guiding students through competitive undergraduate admissions.

• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the capability to manage multiple students and timelines effectively.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
