Java Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lebanon.

📋 Description

• Develop well-structured, testable, and efficient software modules.

• Ensure that designs align with specifications and that all necessary aspects of implementation are addressed in those specifications.

• Prepare and release software components effectively.

• Provide support for production systems as needed.

• Prepare and review design documentation, offering feedback on test plans.

• Promote continuous improvement by exploring alternatives and technologies, presenting these for architectural evaluation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 4 years of full-time professional experience in designing and developing applications within the Java ecosystem.

• Strong foundation in Object Oriented Analysis and Design principles.

• Familiarity with well-known Java frameworks and technologies such as Spring Framework and JPA/Hibernate.

• Experience with asynchronous messaging technologies (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).

• Proficiency in designing and developing HTTP web services.

• Excellent understanding of SQL and RDBMS concepts.

• Practical knowledge of Maven, Git, and Continuous Delivery practices.

• Additional experience in NoSQL databases such as Redis, Elasticsearch, or Couchbase would be highly valued.

• Knowledge of caching technologies, such as Hazelcast or EhCache.

• Familiarity with horizontally scalable, distributed, microservices architectures.
