This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

• Providing support and maintenance for a hybrid infrastructure comprising Windows and Linux systems.

• Collaborating with product engineering teams to implement new features and platform components in production.

• Automating routine tasks, deployments, and testing workflows through infrastructure-as-code and scripting tools.

• Designing and establishing highly available and fault-tolerant systems that satisfy performance and scalability requirements.

• Planning, organizing, and effectively communicating project status and results to both stakeholders and team members.

• Promoting continuous enhancements in system architecture, security, and operational procedures.

• Troubleshooting and resolving intricate issues across the entire technology stack.

• Performing regular audits of the infrastructure.

• Developing and maintaining observability dashboards to ensure compliance with SLA/SLI standards.

• Extensive hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, especially AWS.

• Proficient in Kafka Streams for real-time data processing.

• Strong understanding of stream processing concepts, Schema Registry, and Service Mesh.

• Comfortable working with and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Significant experience with Java (17+) and Spring Boot.

• Practical experience in provisioning infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server configuration and administration.

• Experience in building observability dashboards with tools such as Splunk, Kibana, and Grafana.

• Proficient in scripting languages including PowerShell, Bash, and Python.

• Skilled in utilizing configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Octopus Deploy.

• Familiar with network storage technologies, including NetApp and Amazon S3.

• Experience with coding assistants like Claude Code or OpenAI Codex.
