This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

• Assisting in the upkeep and management of a hybrid Windows and Linux infrastructure

• Collaborating with product engineering teams to deploy new features and platform elements

• Automating repetitive tasks, deployments, and testing processes

• Creating and implementing systems that are highly available and fault-tolerant

• Organizing, planning, and conveying project progress effectively

• Promoting ongoing enhancements in system architecture, security, and operational workflows

• Identifying and resolving intricate issues across the technology stack

• Performing regular infrastructure audits while maintaining a list of potential improvements

• Developing and sustaining observability dashboards

• Strong practical experience with public cloud platforms, especially AWS

• Proficient in Kafka Streams for real-time data processing

• In-depth understanding of stream processing principles, Schema Registry, and Service Mesh

• Comfortable with working on and integrating RESTful APIs

• Extensive experience with Java (version 17+) and Spring Boot

• Hands-on experience in provisioning infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation

• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server configuration and management

• Experience in creating observability dashboards with tools such as Splunk, Kibana, and Grafana

• Proficient in scripting languages including PowerShell, Bash, and Python

• Experienced in utilizing configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Octopus Deploy

• Familiar with network storage solutions, including NetApp and Amazon S3

• Experience with coding tools like Claude Code or OpenAI Codex.
