Java Full Stack Developer – Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in the mass-market insurance systems sector.

• Design and uphold Java Full Stack applications.

• Create and manage front-end components utilizing Angular.

• Oversee and enhance legacy systems.

• Implement and connect REST APIs between various services.

• Collaborate with Oracle databases using Spring Data JPA/Hibernate, MyBatis, and SQL queries.

• Utilize RabbitMQ/Spring AMQP for managing queues, consumers, and producers.

• Troubleshoot issues spanning UI, business logic, SQL, and external integrations.

• Work with configuration profiles and execute controlled deployments across development, staging, and production environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree completed or nearing completion in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of proven experience in Java development within corporate settings.

• Proficiency in developing and maintaining front-end applications with Angular.

• Experience in managing and evolving legacy systems.

• Solid understanding of Java and Spring Boot (MVC, dependency injection, transactions).

• Familiarity with Spring Data JPA / Hibernate in conjunction with Oracle databases.

• Knowledge of MyBatis (XML mappers and SQL queries).

• Experience with REST APIs (@RestController, JSON serialization, HTTP-based service integrations).

• Understanding of RabbitMQ / Spring AMQP (concepts of queues, consumers, and producers).

• Competence in Maven and dependency management.

• Proficient with Angular (components, modules, services, routing, pipes, directives).

• Skills in TypeScript, RxJS, and consuming REST APIs on the front end.

• Experience with reactive forms, validations, and managing UI states (loading, error, success).

• Ability to build with Angular CLI.

• Familiarity with traditional web applications: JSP, JSTL, servlets.

• Proficient in JavaScript (jQuery), Bootstrap 3, and table components (DataTables).

• Experience with Git, IDEs (IntelliJ/Eclipse, VS Code), and Lombok.

• Ability to read and interpret logs.

• Skills in diagnosing issues by correlating across layers: UI, business rules, SQL, and external integrations.

• Experience in environments with configuration profiles and controlled deployments (dev, staging, production).
