Java Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and improve essential services that facilitate customer intake, screening, and data distribution

• Detect and rectify performance issues and architectural challenges

• Manage the entire application stack with complete responsibility for implementation

• Suggest innovative, data-driven solutions that function effectively at scale

• Collaborate within a dynamic, transparent, and highly technical Agile environment

• Guide and mentor developers and engineers

• Provide high-quality software solutions

• Design and construct efficient microservices

• Address intricate engineering challenges and influence technical decision-making

• Create production-ready user interfaces using React along with either Python or Java

• Support significant customer projects in Washington, DC

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of full stack development experience

• More than 3 years of practical experience in React development

• Bachelor's degree

• Strong foundation in Java-based web development and distributed systems

• Demonstrated experience in building production-quality React applications, encompassing components, routing, state management, APIs, and optimization

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools for design, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting

• Comprehensive understanding of application architecture and contemporary design patterns

• Expertise in Git, branching methodologies, code reviews, and CI/CD practices

• Experience in leading engineering teams or mentoring developers

• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud services

• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies

• US citizenship is mandatory

• Capability to acquire BI Full 6C (T4) public trust or other designations

• Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate

• Preferred: Experience with AWS SDKs, such as S3

• Preferred: Development of scalable RESTful services in cloud environments

• Preferred: Awareness of Section 508 accessibility standards and testing tools

• Preferred: Understanding of modern UI/UX principles
