Java Developer – Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Join a team focused on the upkeep and advancement of Java APIs and microservices.

• Investigate and resolve incidents by identifying root causes and establishing technical solutions.

• Create and improve REST APIs and microservices utilizing Java 17+ and Spring Boot.

• Introduce enhancements and new features while ensuring quality, performance, and stability.

• Engage in agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Develop and uphold unit tests.

• Work with cloud-native applications utilizing Docker and related technologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams at Sensedia and the client to facilitate deliveries and continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Java 17+ and Spring Boot development.

• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.

• Skilled in unit testing with JUnit 5.

• Proficient in Docker and Docker Compose.

• Knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems.

• Experience using Git for version control.

• Familiarity with messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.

• Experienced in developing cloud-native applications.

• Understanding of API Gateway concepts.

• Background in incident analysis, resolution, and production support.

• Preferred skills include event-driven architecture, microservices architectural patterns, AWS services, Kubernetes, Golang, JavaScript, support for critical applications, and experience in agile teams with direct client interaction.
