Java Developer – Front-end

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications built on Java that support internal systems.

• Implement front-end functionalities utilizing JavaScript and CSS.

• Utilize Apache Struts frameworks to improve and sustain current applications.

• Identify and rectify software defects promptly.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and ensure high quality.

• Adhere to US Federal Government security and development standards, as well as documentation requirements and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in Java development.

• Practical experience with JavaScript, CSS, and Apache Struts.

• Expertise in object-oriented programming and enterprise application development.

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Knowledge of JSP, Tomcat, or similar web technologies is a PLUS.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies.

• Strong grasp of secure coding practices and application hardening techniques.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be a US Citizen (no dual citizenship).

• Must be eligible to obtain DoD Public Trust clearance.

• Must have resided in the United States for the last 5 years.

• Cannot have spent more than 6 months traveling outside the United States in the past 5 years.

• Military Service is excluded.
