This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive full-stack applications utilizing Java along with contemporary frontend technologies.

• Create backend services and microservices leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework.

• Construct responsive user interfaces with React or Angular, as well as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs along with enterprise application services.

• Collaborate with relational and NoSQL databases to create efficient queries and data-access layers.

• Implement security measures for applications, including authentication, authorization, and error-handling protocols.

• Write unit tests, conduct integration testing, troubleshoot defects, and enhance application performance.

• Work alongside architects, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and fellow developers.

• Engage in code reviews, technical design discussions, Agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Utilize Git and CI/CD pipelines for version control, automated builds, testing, and deployments.

• Assist with application releases, resolve production issues, and provide ongoing maintenance.

• Strong practical experience in Java development and object-oriented programming principles.

• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful web services.

• Experience in developing frontend applications using React or Angular.

• Skilled in JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Background in developing and integrating APIs and microservices.

• Knowledge of SQL and relational database systems such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.

• Experience with unit testing frameworks, including JUnit and Mockito.

• Familiarity with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, debugging, and software development best practices.

• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.

• Familiarity with Kafka or similar messaging technologies.

• Understanding of NoSQL databases, including MongoDB or DynamoDB.

• Awareness of application monitoring, performance tuning, and secure coding practices.
