Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive and well-structured REST applications using Spring Boot 3

• Implement SAML login and manage security logics such as JWT, CORS, and XSS with Spring Security

• Fully develop and manage the database

• Interact with external systems via REST and SOAP services

• Create unit tests using JUnit and Mockito

• Work independently while adhering to assigned priorities and project needs

• Manage time effectively and collaborate with project teams

• Undertake short business trips when necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience; the posting also specifies 3-5 years of Java experience

• Proficiency in Java functional interfaces

• Experience with Spring Boot 3 and the capability to structure complete and well-designed CRUD REST applications

• Knowledge of Spring Security, including SAML login management and JWT, CORS, and XSS handling

• Ability to fully develop and manage the database

• Familiarity with Hibernate and JPA

• Understanding of database versioning frameworks, such as Liquibase or Flyway

• Ability to interact with external systems via REST and SOAP services

• Knowledge of Swagger

• Proficiency in creating unit tests with JUnit and Mockito

• Familiarity with JIRA and Jenkins

• Ability to work independently while respecting assigned priorities

• Good time management skills
