
IVR Audio and Localization Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee a substantial collection of multilingual audio IVR prompts.
• Perform quality assurance, editing, and post-processing on multilingual audio files.
• Manage relationships with voice talent and localization vendors, which includes scheduling, remote coaching for recording sessions globally, preparing localization orders, coordinating feedback between vendors and the PTP team, overseeing an IVR Style Guide, and maintaining vocabulary glossaries.
• Assist in gathering customer requirements and support the design and localization of human/computer IVR dialogue.
• A strong foundation in linguistics and an understanding of conversational dialogue principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail, akin to that of a copy editor, with a keen focus on diacritical marks and spelling.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of formulating questions for vendors in a clear and comprehensible manner.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Willingness to participate in conference calls during unconventional hours.
• Proficiency in non-English languages.
• Experience in IVR (VUI) design.
• Background in library science or cataloging.
• Experience in copy editing.
• Background in audio editing.
