Italian/English OPI/VRI Remote Interpreters

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Handle incoming calls professionally, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during a call.

• Possess knowledge of the specific vocabulary related to the industry in which the interpreter operates, particularly in healthcare and medical fields.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages, ensuring no additions, omissions, or substitutions.

• Deliver the highest standards of customer service during interpreting sessions.

• Facilitate effective communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and Clients by providing accurate and complete interpretations.

• Apply recognized standards of practice in all tasks.

• Participate in internal professional training opportunities.

• Show enthusiasm for obtaining new professional certifications.

• Maintain communication and provide reports to your team leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language 'Italian'.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is advantageous.

• Possession of international certifications within the healthcare sector is a plus (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• High emotional intelligence and an appreciation for diverse cultures.

• Exceptional communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.

• Adherence to technical specifications for computer and internet connectivity.
