Italian Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls as needed, facilitating communication between Italian and English speakers.

• Eliminate communication barriers across various sectors served by LanguageLine Solutions, including Healthcare, Government, Insurance, and Finance.

• Uphold a professional attitude throughout interpretation sessions.

• Adhere to client guidelines to ensure that expectations are fulfilled for Limited English-speaking Persons (LEP).

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both Italian and English, with a strong understanding of the relevant cultural nuances.

• Exceptional listening, retention, and note-taking abilities to ensure a high level of accuracy during interpretations.

• Capability to focus, remain detached from the dialogue, and maintain neutrality and objectivity at all times.

• Background in language-related fields such as teaching, language assessment, translation, or interpretation is preferred.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
