
IT Vendor Relationship Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ), supplier assessments, and award selections.
• Evaluate market trends, supplier cost frameworks, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to synchronize sourcing strategies with business objectives and budgetary constraints.
• Achieve cost reductions, enhance service levels, and mitigate risks.
• Direct commercial negotiations in conjunction with Legal and Finance departments.
• Manage the entire contract lifecycle: including redlines, renewals, amendments, and performance obligations.
• Ensure contract terms meet business, compliance, and risk standards.
• Keep track of renewal deadlines and proactively initiate renegotiations.
• Serve as the primary relationship manager for strategic and high-impact vendors.
• Create and monitor vendor scorecards, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Conduct regular business reviews and handle escalations.
• Identify opportunities for vendor consolidation, innovation, or restructuring.
• Work with Cyber, Legal, and Compliance teams to evaluate and manage third-party risks.
• Ensure compliance with internal sourcing policies and external regulatory standards.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, ideally within a SaaS environment.
• Demonstrated success in leading contract negotiations and supplier governance.
• Strong grasp of sourcing methodologies and cost modeling techniques.
• Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement, communication, and analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems and platforms for contract lifecycle management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of computing, storage, and networking components.
• Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed targets while upholding high quality and efficiency standards.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills, adept at managing multiple projects and priorities for timely and successful outcomes.
• Proficient in negotiation and conflict resolution, skilled at addressing issues and nurturing positive stakeholder relationships.
• Competent in risk and issue management, capable of identifying potential challenges and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and resolve issues swiftly.
• Dedicated to process management and improvement, consistently seeking ways to enhance workflows and optimize performance.
• Leverages metrics and analysis to inform decision-making, utilizing data to shape strategies and evaluate success.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, advanced Excel proficiency, and strong interpersonal skills.
