This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Supervising the support team and associated technical initiatives.
• Recognizing opportunities for enhancing systems, products, and services.
• Assessing initial project proposals, orchestrating planning, budgeting, scheduling, and overseeing project execution.
• Leading and managing the support team, which includes hiring, training, managing, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Overseeing and monitoring current computer systems to ensure optimal performance and security levels.
• Building relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts, creating user documentation, maintaining existing documentation, and establishing standard IT practices.
• Monitoring the operational status of computer software and hardware; ensuring that computers, printers, and other peripherals are functioning properly.
• Carrying out hardware and software maintenance as needed.
• Reporting equipment issues or malfunctions and providing the required documentation.
• Acquiring necessary hardware and software to support daily operations and fulfill project needs.
• Setting up and managing Microsoft Entra and Exchange accounts.
• Directing the IT support team and prioritizing issues as necessary.
• Acting as a senior technical resource for new procedures and aiding in helpdesk knowledge transfer.
• Establishing monitoring tools and promptly communicating all issues to enable accurate evaluation, communication, and resolution.
• Upholding a positive, proactive attitude dedicated to the continuous enhancement of company culture and productivity.
• Collaborating closely with the Cyber Security Team to maintain and enhance IT system security.
• Keeping a tidy and organized workspace.
• Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel as required, including some international trips.
• Proven experience in managing an IT support team with varied skill levels.
• Familiarity with implementing and utilizing an IT ticketing system.
• Competence in tracking and reporting metrics and KPIs from ticketing systems.
• Experience with end-user computers and printers/copiers.
• Background in contract and vendor negotiations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Entra (Azure Active Directory).
• Highly motivated, positive, responsible, organized, quick to learn, and a collaborative team player.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience in procurement and asset management.
• This position requires an AA/AS or BA/BS degree in a computer-related field along with 4 years of experience managing IT for a global organization; or a combination of education and experience that enables the performance of all job responsibilities.
