This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Administration, fortification, and ongoing enhancement of our Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Design and execution of endpoint security strategies within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, specifically utilizing Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, and Entra ID.
• Management and strengthening of Windows clients along with the establishment of policies for identities, devices, access, and OIDC/SSO.
• Planning and automation of recurring IT processes leveraging PowerShell and relevant Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
• Administration, oversight, and further development of our Windows Server environment.
• Involvement in updates, patching, backups, monitoring, and recovery/restart procedures.
• Management of software and cloud licenses, including inventory management, optimization, and reporting.
• Creation and ongoing enhancement of standardized deployment processes adhering to DevOps principles, including Infrastructure as Code.
• Addressing complex requests and incidents in 2nd- and 3rd-level support, along with systematic root-cause analysis.
• Preparation of technical documentation and security concepts while collaborating with internal teams and external service providers.
• Completed vocational training or degree in an IT-related discipline, such as specialized training in system integration, IT systems electronics, or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in managing Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Windows environments.
• Strong knowledge in several of the following areas: Microsoft Intune and endpoint management, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access and Identity & Access Management, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams or other Microsoft 365 services, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
• Proficient in PowerShell with experience in automating administrative tasks.
• Understanding of contemporary deployment processes, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably with Bicep, Terraform, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience in 2nd- and 3rd-level support along with structured troubleshooting skills.
• Independent, solution-oriented, and detail-oriented work style.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for teamwork.
• Excellent German language skills and good English language proficiency.
