IT Systems Engineer, Linux – Design & Implementation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Strategizing and provisioning highly available IT systems operating on Linux within intricate IT environments.

• Technical design and hands-on execution of engaging customer projects in the managed Linux sector.

• Providing guidance to our clients and internal operations teams regarding industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration (m/f/d), or an equivalent qualification.

• Proficiency with Linux-based infrastructure and web/database services in complex IT settings.

• Strong understanding of configuration management tools such as Puppet, Ansible, or Terraform, or relevant experience with scripting languages like Perl or Python.

• Familiarity with containerized applications (e.g., Kubernetes or Docker) is a plus.

• Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and with a solution-oriented approach.

• High attention to quality, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, along with a proactive attitude towards learning and initiative.
