This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Assist in the support and maintenance of a scalable and secure IT infrastructure across both cloud (GCP/AWS) and on-premises environments.
• Ensure the high availability and performance of internal IT systems, applications, and collaboration tools.
• Automate provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance processes utilizing modern scripting and orchestration tools.
• Oversee identity, access, and device management solutions, ensuring compliance and security.
• Streamline repetitive IT and operational tasks through automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Create and sustain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Construct and manage CI/CD pipelines for deploying infrastructure and applications.
• Work in collaboration with development and security teams to enhance DevOps workflows and improve deployment reliability.
• Manage and optimize workloads in AWS and GCP environments, focusing on cost efficiency (aligned with FinOps principles).
• Implement cloud security best practices that align with organizational compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
• Propel automation efforts for provisioning, scaling, and monitoring cloud resources.
• Provide Tier 3-level support for critical IT systems and escalated issues.
• Administer enterprise collaboration platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian Suite, CI/CD tools, etc.).
• Ensure seamless integration of IT tools, systems, and internal applications.
• Collaborate closely with global IT teams to uphold consistent service delivery and enhance user satisfaction.
• Implement and maintain security controls for endpoints and cloud environments.
• Support initiatives related to vulnerability management, patching, and compliance (SOC, GDPR, ISO, etc.).
• Partner with SecOps and FinOps teams to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant infrastructure operations.
• Act as a liaison between IT operations, engineering, and business teams to translate technical requirements into practical solutions.
• Provide clear documentation, communication, and training for IT processes and automation systems.
• Support cross-functional initiatives led by ITOps and collaborate across various time zones.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in IT Systems Engineering, Automation, or DevOps roles.
• Practical expertise in cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP) and related automation tools.
• Strong scripting and development skills in Python, with a background in automating IT processes.
• In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure, including Linux, Windows Active Directory, networking, identity management, device management, and monitoring.
• Proven success in delivering automation and infrastructure projects within a fast-paced, global environment.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
• Experience in distributed, remote-first organizations is a plus.
