IT Systems Engineer – Automation, AI - Apprenticeship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Automate the complete onboarding and offboarding processes.

• Develop and enhance workflows for user provisioning and access management.

• Design and oversee device fleet automation utilizing our MDM (JumpCloud).

• Investigate and implement AI-driven workflows to enhance IT operations and foster wider AI integration throughout the organization.

• Oversee the device fleet (Linux, Windows, macOS) and network equipment.

• Monitor incidents and pinpoint recurring failure trends.

• Propel advancements in workstation setups, IT fleet, and information systems.

• Create activity reports: device security, tool usage, and more.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient scripting or development abilities (Python, Bash, or similar) sufficient for creating genuine automation tools and workflows.

• Strong understanding of systems: Linux, Windows, and macOS.

• Good grasp of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPNs, proxies).

• Familiarity with MDM or device management solutions; experience with JumpCloud is advantageous.

• Comfortable working with APIs and integrating third-party tools (IAM, SaaS platforms).

• Genuine enthusiasm for AI tools and workflows, including LLM APIs, AI agents, or task automation.

• Capable of producing clear technical documentation and procedures in English.

• Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.

• Master's-level engineering education (Bac+5), ideally complemented by initial practical experience (internship or previous apprenticeship) in IT systems, automation, or software engineering.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — this role interacts with the entire organization, not just IT, so clear explanations for non-technical colleagues are essential.

• Proficient English skills, as some team members are English-speaking.

• Methodical, organized, curious, and self-sufficient, with the motivation to independently carry a project from concept to execution.
