IT Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Management of servers: Responsible for the upkeep and administration of our Windows servers and Active Directory.

• Access management: Overseeing account and permission settings for both employees and customers.

• Employee onboarding: Facilitating hardware setup and offering support during new hires' initial login.

• System oversight: Administering both hardware and software solutions, ranging from Office applications to specialized tools.

• Technical assistance: Providing 1st and 2nd level support to our employees and customers.

• Involvement in IT projects: Engaging in the implementation of new tools and technologies.

• VPN design and management: Creating and overseeing Virtual Private Networks.

• Telephone system administration: Managing and maintaining the telecommunications system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training or a degree in computer science, IT systems integration, or a related field, along with several years of professional experience in system administration or systems engineering, preferably within the healthcare sector.

• Extensive knowledge of Windows Servers, including Active Directory, Azure AD, and M365 administration, as well as expertise in network and security matters (firewalls, VPNs) and managing devices and licenses through MS Intune and Apple Business Manager.

• Familiarity with medical applications (KIS/HIS, PACS, RIS) is advantageous, along with an understanding of the specific security and availability needs in a hospital setting.

• A collaborative team player who can work independently and is willing to take part in on-call duties.
