This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Develop, configure, and deploy new ImageTrend applications and websites, while addressing performance issues of hosted applications and managing the ticket queue to respond to client service inquiries.

• Design, implement, and sustain AWS cloud services encompassing storage, networking, monitoring, and platform services to facilitate enterprise workloads and cloud adoption objectives.

• Utilize PowerShell and other automation scripts to enhance monitoring and troubleshooting efforts as directed by the IT Systems team.

• Oversee the hosting environment for potential issues, taking corrective measures when necessary to ensure the stable performance of applications and assisting with routine maintenance.

• Track platform health, performance, logs, alerts, and service availability through observability tools, while driving troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and post-incident enhancement initiatives.

• Uphold best practices for hosting environments to effectively support ImageTrend applications.

• Manage networking components, including virtual networks, subnets, network security groups, load balancers, application gateways, firewalls, and VPN gateways, in accordance with Zero Trust and segmentation best practices.

• Conduct remote site updates for self-hosted clients and assist customers with Site-to-Site VPN tunnel constructions and troubleshooting.

• Configure and maintain DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and various networking components.

• Aid in on-premises-to-AWS migration and hybrid cloud projects, including infrastructure assessments, migration planning, modernization activities, and operational transitions to cloud-native or hybrid support models.

• Contribute to ongoing improvement by identifying automation opportunities, minimizing manual efforts, enhancing platform documentation, and adhering to operational and engineering best practices.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to address after-hours critical and major incidents as required.

• Travel to support in-office and on-premises needs, and attend industry or company events and other in-person meetings as necessary.

• Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

• Proven experience with AWS core platform services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, backup, security, and monitoring.

• Familiarity with processes related to network and operational systems administration, configuration, and maintenance.

• Advanced experience with similar technologies: Microsoft PowerShell, Azure DevOps, IIS, Linux, Windows, RedHat, MongoDB, MySQL, and AWS.

• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, source control, and DevOps delivery methodologies for infrastructure and platform modifications.

• Comprehensive understanding of AWS networking and security principles, including segmentation, secure remote access, firewalls, private connectivity, identity-based access control, and Zero Trust-aligned design.

• Strong documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the capability to translate technical priorities into clear operational plans and stakeholder updates.

• Background in hybrid cloud, migration, or modernization programs involving on-premises infrastructure, identity synchronization, or enterprise connectivity.

• Familiarity with ITSM processes, change management, and incident/problem management workflows.

• Experience applying industry best practices and implementing process improvements or optimization.

• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills with the ability to deliver results against complex requirements.

• Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to handle proprietary and confidential information with discretion.

• Eagerness to learn and expand knowledge or skills.

• Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, collaboration, and team orientation.

• Willingness to work after hours and be on-call for critical issue support, system updates, or other urgent tasks as needed.

• Capability to work in-office on a hybrid basis as required.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% annually.
