This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Efficiently, thoroughly, and promptly addresses help desk requests.
• Manages all user-related activities, including onboarding new users, deactivating terminated users, maintaining and setting up workstations, overseeing phone user maintenance, and implementing access modifications.
• Records all modifications and takes responsibility for these changes.
• Oversees hardware management tasks, including ordering equipment, maintaining inventory, tracking assets, installation, troubleshooting, and upkeep.
• Administers the application of software updates and conducts daily maintenance on existing systems.
• Aids in regulatory compliance initiatives and documentation as required, which may include vendor risk assessments, departmental risk evaluations, PC and iSeries operations, disaster recovery and business continuity planning, as well as IT audit preparations and follow-up actions.
• Executes software and hardware installations and maintenance as directed by management.
• Conducts tape backups of critical libraries.
• Gathers and manages reports.
• Prints coupons, letters, checks, and various statements.
• Ensures all tasks are completed by the end of each day.
• Manages trouble tickets effectively to guarantee clear and concise communication updates for each ticket.
• Follows up on ticket updates from initiation to resolution.
• Open to occasional travel as necessary for remote office support.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Highly favored: 3 to 5 years of experience in a related IT role.
• Preferred: Technical Certifications (Microsoft, ITIL).
