This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide top-notch technical support to end-users in a professional and efficient manner.
• Troubleshoot and maintain hardware, software, and network issues to reduce downtime.
• Work collaboratively with IT team members to improve system performance and user experience.
• Ensure adherence to IT policies and procedures to uphold security and compliance.
• Offer first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues via phone, email, or in-person.
• Identify and resolve technical problems involving desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and applications as necessary.
• Assist in managing user accounts, including access permissions and password resets.
• Document support activities and maintain precise records of issues and resolutions.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and address complex issues.
• Aid in IT asset management by tracking inventory and coordinating repairs or replacements.
• Engage in ongoing training to remain updated on emerging technologies and best practices.
• Demonstrated experience in an IT support or helpdesk position.
• Strong familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Knowledge of common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and efficient troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills with the capacity to convey technical information clearly.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize support requests in a dynamic environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) are advantageous.
