IT Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Deliver advanced technical expertise and experience to create innovative solutions for internal stakeholders.

• Design and implement solutions utilizing technologies primarily centered around Microsoft Azure Cloud and Amazon AWS.

• Contribute to the Digital Transformation of RHI Magnesita as a member of the Digital & Cloud Solution Delivery team.

• Work closely with internal clients to identify and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with effective and practical technical solutions.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and engineers across various countries.

• Assess, estimate, and support system development based on business-area needs.

• Utilize market best practices and Agile methodologies.

• Stay updated with trends, best practices, and innovations in software development.

• Inspire and lead cross-functional teams to produce high-quality solutions.

• Document activities and coordinate efforts with other teams and IT departments.

• Propose and challenge new ideas with complete autonomy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Proficient/Fluent in English.

• Experience in developing solutions hosted on Cloud platforms.

• Background in software development across multitier environments.

• Ability to mentor junior developers.

• Experience managing backlogs, evaluating risks, and balancing resource allocations.

• Familiarity with Microsoft cloud solutions including IaaS, PaaS, and Serverless architectures.

• Understanding of security best practices in infrastructure, applications, IAM, and data analysis solutions.

• Proficient in scripting.

• Experience with project delivery methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Capacity to comprehend business needs and collaborate with other teams for day-to-day support.

• Experience with remote work and collaboration across various time zones.

• Familiarity with applying AI in development processes and daily tasks.

• Experience in identifying business opportunities, prioritizing customer needs, proposing viable technical solutions, managing multiple stakeholders, evaluating complex landscapes, identifying synergies, and developing business cases.

• Software development experience in web-based applications employing agile techniques.

• OutSystems and Cloud certifications are considered a plus.

• Nice-to-have: Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, Node.js, Java, Python, RESTful APIs, Docker, Kubernetes.

• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Power Platform, Intune, Office 365, and related tools.

• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Nice-to-have: Development experience with Low Code tools.

• Nice-to-have: Skills in Angular, React, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps.

• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of IaC and automation tools including ARM Templates, Terraform, Chef, or Ansible.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with Low Code platforms, preferably OutSystems.
