This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Deliver administrative and technical assistance to Government and contractor personnel engaged in IRS ICAM operations.
• Aid in documentation planning and project management tasks.
• Provide general office support and coordination services.
• Assist in executive administrative functions and overall office operations.
• Help with workforce planning and coordination efforts.
• Contribute to event planning and administrative tasks.
• Support planning for office relocations and transitions as necessary.
• Coordinate administrative and support activities within dynamic office settings.
• Report directly to client personnel and assist with client operations as needed.
• Facilitate Administrative IT Support Services activities and requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate program performance metrics and operational measures.
• Analyze workflows and assist in process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with essential administrative requirements.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and briefing materials.
• Organize and facilitate meetings, workgroups, and collaborative sessions.
• Assist with data management and analysis tasks.
• Record meeting minutes and maintain action item trackers.
• Respond to email inquiries and support program communications.
• Assist with contractor reporting obligations and documentation tasks.
• Provide support to IRS Headquarters personnel as requested.
• A High School Diploma is required. Four (4) years of relevant experience may be accepted in place of the educational requirement.
• Experience in supporting federal administrative, technical, or program support functions.
• Knowledge of HSPD-12 directives, PIV credentialing, FIPS 201, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and Federal Identity, Credential, and Access Management (FICAM) principles.
• Experience in credential issuance and maintenance operations.
• Proficient in using the USAccess system and supporting federal credentialing environments.
• Familiarity with Fixed and Mobile Credentialing Units, Fargo printers, laptops, desktops, copier and multifunction devices, and Light Activation Kits.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel is required.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Must be available during Eastern Time business hours to support IRS meetings and reporting needs.
• Must reside within 50 miles of IRS Headquarters in Washington, DC.
• Must be able to report on-site to IRS Headquarters as requested by the Government.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain IRS staff-like access under the IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) standard, including a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI), tax compliance review, and credit check.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident as per position requirements.
• Must remain compliant with federal tax obligations.
• Must complete required IRS security training and maintain an active PIV or SmartID credential where applicable.
