IT Infrastructure PMO Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Lead the Infrastructure Project Management Team by establishing expectations for project delivery, team performance, and accountability.

• Mentor and develop project management professionals.

• Oversee complex infrastructure projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder engagement.

• Cultivate partnerships with engineering teams, business leaders, and vendors.

• Eliminate obstacles, manage dependencies, and ensure successful delivery outcomes.

• Identify risks and dependencies while facilitating decision-making processes.

• Promote consistency in project management practices, governance, and reporting.

• Encourage continuous improvement throughout the PMO.

• Build high-performing teams through accountability, talent development, and a results-driven culture.

• Communicate the health of projects, associated risks, and recommendations.

• Oversee department operations and manage professional employees, front line supervisors, and/or business support staff.

• Engage in the development of policies and procedures.

• Ensure employees adhere to established guidelines.

• Interact with subordinates, peers, customers, suppliers, and senior management.

• Resolve operational and project-related issues while gaining consensus among involved parties.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-12 years of relevant experience is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.

• Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.

• Experience with Planview or other project and portfolio management (PPM) platforms is preferred.

• Proven track record in delivering complex infrastructure or enterprise technology projects is preferred.

• Experience in managing project management professionals while also maintaining direct project or program delivery responsibilities is preferred.

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with engineers, business partners, and senior leaders, translating technical complexity into business impact is preferred.
