IT Solutions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Operates within a business process team as a subject matter expert and consultant at the SAP Super User Level.

• Acts as a functional system authority.

• Engages in business reporting and requirement gathering activities.

• Concentrates on comprehensive processes and their cross-functional implications.

• Defines business requirements.

• Collaborates with other specialists to leverage global best practices and enhance System Development.

• Works with team members (super users, consultants, developers) to pinpoint system requirements and design.

• Advises the business on change requests.

• Offers guidance for functional specifications.

• Assists consultants and developers during the system construction phase, as well as through the rollout and post go-live stages.

• Reviews and provides feedback on test scenarios and test scripts.

• Aids in functional, cross-functional, integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing.

• Contributes to the creation of end-user training and facilitates knowledge transfer to country trainers and experts.

• Ensures knowledge transfer to training specialists and evaluates training materials.

• Delivers post go-live support both on-site and remotely.

• Provides insights for planning.

• Emphasizes comprehensive processes and cross-functional impact.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of IT project and/or support experience, with in-depth knowledge of the systems employed by the business unit supported by the SME is preferred.

• Exceptional analysis, communication, and documentation skills are essential.

• Capable of analyzing and resolving complex issues and problems in a timely and effective manner.

• Able to maintain composure and productivity under stress and pressure, particularly when managing high workloads and deadlines.

• Adaptable and open to change, adjusting as necessary.

• Able to articulate ideas clearly and convey essential information.

• Proficient in facilitating group interactions.

• Possesses knowledge and/or expertise in the relevant area of responsibility.

• Demonstrates strong leadership qualities with a proactive approach to leading, innovating, and asserting ideas.

• Exhibits strong organizational and time management abilities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.

• Competent in using relevant computer system applications at an intermediate level.
